Any home or lot purchase also includes an agreement to accept all the benefits and responsibilities of community ownership of the common areas and facilities. This Agreement is included at the Liberty Village web site as the “DECLARATION OF COVENANTS, CONDITIONS, RESTRICTIONS, EASEMENTS AND ASSESSMENTS FOR LIBERTY VILLAGE”. This agreement is a title document that is provided when a contract is executed, but is available in advance to review and ask about while you are getting acquainted with the community. One of the unique aspects of ownership at Liberty Village is that the lots are “footprint” lots, extending marginally about one foot outside the foundations of the homes. All other property is community common area, but may be maintained as household landscaping around individual homes as long as the homeowner agrees to maintain all areas that they plant or cultivate.
